Three kids means my calendar is FULL – like really full! I’m not always be able to find the time to go out into the field or focus in my studio.

But I always seems to find myself sitting on the bleachers watching a practice! These 1.5 hour blocks are the perfect time to paint a little piece.

“Visionary Women” is a visual arts exhibit at Columbia Art Center in March honoring
International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month. 2024 focuses on the theme of Speaking Up – Speaking Out, explored in a variety of ways by many local artists.

“Our Morning” features a woman walking with a stroller during the morning hours along a quiet path. Drawing the subtle purples in nature, International Women’s Day color, this piece reflects upon the unique femininity a mother’s private conversations with her young one.

Visionary Women will be showing from March 8 – April 5 2024
