Bleacher Sketches

Three children often means spending multiple hours from the bleachers, sidelines, or as a spectator. Most of these smaller pieces created with ink & alcohol marker are shared via the social media pages

Watercolors, Cold Press Paper & a French Easel

My main medium of choice currently allows for easy transport and clean-up while balancing stay-at-home parenting and painting. A collapsible rolling cart completes the off-roading artistic adventure.

Landscapes Plein Air & in the Studio

While being out in nature is preferred, weather and timing sometimes dictate where the easel gets placed. Plein Air offers better lighting and more well rounded composition. While conversely being in the studio allows more creative freedom to explore outside the confines of realistic expectations.

Book Cover Designer

A rare treat to be honored to design a book cover. This wrap-around design graces bit of family history written by my father based around my grandfather’s letters to my grandmother during WWII.

Comics, Illustrations, & Silliness

A BA in Fine Arts, comes with the expectation of a varied working lifestyle. Motherhood inserts a new niche to staying creative while raising young children. Humor and quick draws provided the much needed connection to maintaining an artistic connection.
